To ensure you can enjoy a carefree stay on R\u00fcgen, our Hotel Nautilus\u00ae offers 12 cozy Captain\u2019s Rooms (as double rooms) and 6 single rooms, all equipped with a shower, WC, telephone, and TV. Our ‘cabins’ for guests who wish to live on board are designed to match the restaurant\u2019s unique style. Of course, they are not as cramped or spartan as the crew\u2019s quarters on the original Nautilus, but modern and spacious. Our Captain\u2019s Rooms, featuring magnificent views of the Greifswalder Bodden, are particularly popular.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Hotel Nautilus\u00ae on R\u00fcgen benefits from several unique advantages that converge in this location: for instance, its proximity to the former royal residence of Putbus, whose ‘Circus’ is a remarkable and exceptionally well-preserved example of 18th-century architecture.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, guests at our hotel on R\u00fcgen can enjoy exceptional peace and seclusion, which remains undisturbed despite the proximity to Putbus and the main road. The surrounding untouched nature is perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle. Additionally, the hotel\u2019s closeness to the harbor in the village of Lauterbach, which directly borders Putbus, offers the perfect opportunity to visit the nearby island of Vilm. <\/p>\n

Our hotel thus benefits from its exceptional location in the south of the island. The German Avenue Route (Deutsche Alleenstra\u00dfe) runs through Putbus and Garz and is always worth the journey. Especially in summer, when the trees lining the road are in full bloom, the avenue is a magnificent sight. Located in the immediate vicinity, our hotel is the perfect choice for both a short getaway and extended summer holidays. <\/p>\n

The Baltic seaside resorts\u2014of which Binz is certainly the most famous\u2014are also just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel. Additionally, the ‘Rasender Roland’ (Racing Roland) steam train passes through Putbus, connecting the town with the M\u00f6nchgut peninsula. The seaside resort of G\u00f6hren is always well worth a visit. <\/p>\n

In addition, we offer 14 Captain\u2019s Suites that can accommodate up to 4 people. These suites are located in two guest houses and feature separate external entrances via private terrace doors. The living areas are equipped with a TV, telephone, and minibar, among other amenities. The bathroom, with shower and WC, is also located on the ground floor. A wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area above. Each Captain\u2019s Suite boasts its own private terrace. We have prepared these new suites with great love and attention to detail for our guests. <\/p>\n
