The interior, which brings the spirit of the Nautilus to life, is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Only authentic materials were used—those that age gracefully and grow even more beautiful with time.
Each room serves as a cozy hideaway, where the “gentle lapping of water” and the distant hum of engine wheels transport guests into an atmosphere of romance and adventure. With soft lighting and a hint of mystery in the air, every dinner becomes an unforgettable experience.

A Culinary Voyage
The Submarine: An Extraordinary Venue
When the restaurant opened its doors 30 years ago, it was more than just the realization of a tavern—it was the fulfillment of a dream: a place where guests could immerse themselves in the mysterious world of underwater adventure.
At the heart of this vision lies a fantastic submarine divided into distinct areas: the Officer’s Cabin, the Crew’s Mess, the Engine Room, and the elegant Captain’s Lounge—complete with an authentic organ that lends the room a unique sense of depth.

The centerpiece of the establishment is a large saltwater aquarium, which perfects the illusion of a true voyage beneath the waves.
Every element was crafted using only authentic materials—or those that gain character over time. Teak wood, church pews, and original nautical equipment were laboriously gathered from far and wide—back in a time long before the internet.
The Control Center – A Stylish Event Venue aboard the Nautilus
An exceptional dining space in the Steampunk style: riveted steel arches, exposed pipes, and massive wall paneling create a truly unique ambiance.
Comfortable English-style leather armchairs and an electric fireplace provide a touch of sophisticated coziness.
Perfect for small celebrations, family gatherings, or corporate dinners—the Power Plant (Elektrozentrale) offers space for up to 20 people in a private, atmospheric setting.
The Indian Village – An Exotic Event Space with a Story
Inspired by the novel The Mysterious Island—the third installment of the Nautilus trilogy—the “Indian Village” tells the story of the Indian Prince Dakkar. Better known as Captain Nemo, he created his legendary submarine on a hidden island.
With a capacity of 78 seats, the Indian Village provides the ideal setting for celebrations, conferences, seminars, and larger group events. The room layout is flexible, and we are happy to provide modern equipment—including a screen, projector, and sound system—upon request.
Each morning, this setting is transformed into a sophisticated breakfast room for our hotel guests.
Whether festive, professional, or creative—the Indian Village is a place for extraordinary ideas in an exceptional atmosphere.
